Power Rankings Week 1
Gentleman, the day is finally here. The first game of the season and we got on what could be the best game all season in the Bills Vs the Rams. This is only the second time in NFL history that the reigning Superbowl Champs are playing the Superbowl favorites for this year to start the season off. I was just like to start off by saying my condolences to Erik as the Cowboys were just eliminated from the playoffs. We have seen some trades go down prior to week 1 and I will let everyone know it is because we are all a bunch of horny fucks. I am looking at you Bryan, you know you slinging that thing around O-Block. However, I would like to say good luck this year gentleman and I hope you guys just have fun and remember its always Fuck Erik.
Chucks Power Rankings -
1. Ryan
Mr. Colorado Electrician, this team is electric. Your RB's are well balanced with the potential of finishing top 5. Your WR and TE have target friendly offenses and expect them to throw the ball a lot. I have nothing bad to say about this team and I believe you are the team to beat this year. Your bench WR will fill itself out, but the fact Gabriel Davis is your WR 5 I think you do not need to worry about it.
2. Ant
Mr. Texas and my blogger in crime. I know you are probably a little shocked to see yourself here, it was a tough decision for sure. However, the CMC scare then the hope of Bateman to be that guy. I love Bateman, but still has to prove he is that guy. I have nothing else to say about your team, but for now Ryan is untouchable.
3. Gio
Mr. Horny Gio, you have a team that can be explosive. You have guys expected to have big years. However, your weak point is your WR Core. Diontae is your biggest name on your core, but can also be your biggest bust. St Brown was a hard knocks star, but in an offense that is expected to run through swift and Hockenson I can see him not being that WR 2. Hard Worker Thielen should fit right in at WR 3. Your bench RB's also hurt you alot as 2 are hand cuffs(Old handcuffs) then one is in a committee. However, the potential this team has. You are gonna start here.
4. Chuck
Well well well, you know how this goes. Starts in the top 5, will end up in bottom 5 by week 5. You have done a lot of work this off season to get to this point. Your strongest thing you got going here is your RB's. Derrick Henry is a freak of nature and will probably have another dominating season. Etienne will need to show that magic he had at Clemson with his PIC MR. pretty boy Lawrence. Saquon looking healthier then ever and in a year he needs to prove himself. Pierce and Penny both the starting RB's for there respected teams and can be solid RB 3 with RB 2/ Low RB1 potential. Your WR core is boom or bust as two receivers looking to get there careers going and one looking to revitalize his. However the boom or bust potential brings you here.
5. Bryan
Mr. Chi-town cracking the top 5 off rip. With the two most explosive WR from last year in Kupp and Samuel and the T higgins who would be a WR 1 anywhere else I personally think this is the best core 3 WR in the league. However, your RB's will be your down fall. Your two starting RB's have never played a full season and also have never rushed for a thousand yards in a season. I like Akers and expect him to have a great a year. Conner on the other hand he will come back to life. He had 18 touchdowns last year. Thats not gonna happen again. In a injury riddle year for RB's conner will come back to life. Your bench also needs a lot of work. The explosiveness in your WR core though can easily win you matchups every week.
6. Wings
MR. Alas, welcome to your first season as a married man. Your team has all the potential in the world. Your RB's breece hall is expected to be that guy and zeke is sadly underrated even though he ran for a thousand yards again and had 12 td's on the year. His fumble troubles went away last season, however I think the departure of cooper was big for zeke. Your receivers are all #1s in every offense, but 3 of them have QB's figuring out a new offense scheme and one with the goat who will probably retire this year. The combo of Big Dick Allen and Dawson Cocks should be insane for you. You have a bench with alot of upside as well.
7. Erik
Erik Erik Erik, tf are you doing. You keep three receivers and you start the draft with a QB lmao. Its bold, but I respect it. Your bench is gross and your starting RB's are almost as gross. I love Montgomery and he will have a good year. Gibson will probably have his legs fall off and be irrelevant when Robinson gets back. Your WR core is solid, but not enough boom to carry you.
8. Joe
You have probably the deadliest RB duo in Cook and Taylor. However, you have 4 Raiders in your starting line up. Screams red flag. Then you have Mr Tik Tok who is probably warming up with Jackson Mahomes and not Patrick. You have three rookie running backs on your bench and a WR's who are either little boom or big bust. Joe will probably give up by week 3 anyways.
9. Roberto
Rob Fadez. You got the swaggiest team in the league. However, you have the worst bench in the league. Marlon Mack is on a practice squad and OBJ wont be back until later on in the year. I expect Chase and Diggs to carry you along with Kelce and the crazy target share that DRAAAKKEE is going to get. I love a Julio redemption year though and I know nobody else probably does. Mitchell is a giant question mark on a team that has a new RB every other week. JK dobbins still not healthy and probably not playing the first couple of weeks. Figure it out rob.
10. Nauch
Frauch, this is the first time I have every seen you start this low in power rankings. Your bench has not boom potential, but the occasional fill in with the exception of Pickens. Your RB's well Chubb is solid and is a powerful runner. Fournette is expected to see a decrease workload and has never played a full healthy season. You have Robinson who should have a better year easily in this offense. Chris Godwin returning from injury yet again and will probably not play week 1. Devonta Smith now a WR 2 in the eagles offense, but with an offense that has no clue what they are doing each week. This team has NAMES but no true breakout or boom potential. I expect a nauch tank this season.
Highest PF Prediction this year: I fully expect it to be Ryan.
Lowest PF Prediction: I am going to go out on a limb and say Nauch.
Dark Horse Playoff Team: I am going to say Roberto.
Champ Prediction: I am going to go with Bryan as I think his team can dominate with some solid moves.
Week 1 Predicitons -
Ant Vs Bryan - Bryan
Ryan Vs Joe - Ryan
Chuck Vs Erik - Chuck
Nauch Vs Roberto - Roberto
Gio Vs Wings - Gio
Ants’ Power Rankings -
1: Ant
The returning champ starts the year off at the top looking down, rightfully so. Led by his top 12 running back trio and solid receivers core, ant is poised to make a deep run in this years playoffs again. Pair that with solid depth behind him even AFTER acquiring the young TE phenom Kyle Pitts and it's gonna be a problem for the LOD.
2: Ryan
The second competitor out of Colorado has waited for this moment since he joined the league. Led by his young keeper trio, Ryan has built a great team through the draft and added more with his acquisition of top TE Mark Andrew's. From top to bottom Ryan had a team that can compete with anyone in the league and should give Ant the toughest challenge going into the year.
3. Gio
Here we have cocky Gio, where he always starts the year, in the top end of the power rankings, so close to a dynasty. The man knows how to build competitors and he's done that again led by his scary running back trio of his own. Pair that with solid receivers and the return of the Wallet the Baller to the lineup and gio can easily make playoffs again. He has enough depth on the bench to offset any injuries for now and we know Gio is more than willing to get rid of picks if it means he can get to the championship game for the 4th year in a row.
4. Bryan
While I think Bryan's team is great on paper, I think there's a lot of interesting pieces to this ranking.
1. The bench on this team is severely lacking and for someone who traded away the top receiver in the draft, you'd think you would've gotten more picks to shore that up.
2. The WRs look great but the running backs on this team are going to be expected to carry a heavy load. And if one goes down, so does this team.
3. You start the year off against the top two ranked teams in my PR. It could be a big entrance to the league, or a rude awakening.
5. Erik
For all the shit you've gotten, you easily have the best WRs in the league. Your running back situation is the definition of mid and has interestingly bad depth behind it. Maybe stealing Big Herb in the 4th round will end up carrying you for a while but this team desperately needs reinforcements if it wants to compete. Especially once Antonio Gibson proves he's not a playable running back in fantasy anymore.
6. Chuck
The ultimate boom or bust squad of the league. 2 Running backs and a receiver that either missed more than either all of the season or a giant chunk of last year. The boom or bust qb of the league. And a bunch of other guys. This team could end up in the top 3 very quickly. It could also end up in the bottom 3 just as fast
7. Joe
The team with J-Taylor and Dalvin cook is somehow in the 7 spot. Let the hate fuel you. While I will say the 5-7 teams are very interchangeable, Joe ended up here because of his questionable draft choices that have already been touched on. The bench depth is solid but I don't see the love of Juju, Jacob's, and Carr. The Raiders narrative is funny, but you don't actually have to act like them.
8. Wings
Hey wings, your team is actually sneaky decent... besides those RBs, gross. Never fear your team can be carried enough by the solid WR core you've built yourself and the MVP front runner. If these RBs don't pan out though, it's going to be tank decision time. Figure it out and figure it out early. Before chuck uses all 8 of his trades.
9. Nauch
Before your trades of Kyle Pitts and Derek Henry this was probably the worst team in the league. But it's sure been rounded out by the incoming players and now has a solid starting lineup. While this might be the most boring team in the league it has a chance to be efficient. He might even be able to sell off some players for future picks. Unless we get another fuck a draft season from Mr. Frauch
10. Roberto
When the best player on your team is debatably your TE, there's a problem. Sure we have Diggs and Chase here but other than that the rest of the team is average at best. You still have two guys on the team that aren't in the league. And 4th string wide receiver Julio Jones is in your flex spot. It's gonna be alot of luck for this team to get going, especially because this team lacks an owner that actively participates in trade or waivers, no diss.
Highest PF prediction: Ant
Top lineup with the depth and draft picks to trade will lead to another year of a dominating lineup from ant, unless the injury bug really destroys him
Lowest PF prediction: Roberto
A very lackluster lineup mixed together with inactivity from ownership lands Roberto here. You don't have the 3 chiefs to save you anymore.
Dark horse playoff team: Wings
With Josh Allen and the WR quartet to back you up your team can sneak into the playoffs and give people a run for the money they sent you. It just doesn't seem right to leave the commish out of the playoff running despite a rough rank to start the year.
Champ Prediction: Ant
I will do whatever it takes to bring the trophy back to my desk. #WinforVin
