What an action packed Week 3! We saw some comeback, two teams go 3-0 and two teams go 0-3. We definitely are seeing the league start to seperate into groups, but there are some of the middle of the pact teams that can disrupt it all. Before we dive into some Rankings lets dive into the trades that have happened.
Chuck, you took advantage of your depth and went and got a guy who can be really great if the Jets just change QB. He had a great year with Wilson at QB last year, but the potential and return are massive for what Garret Wilson can be. Your Trade Grade is B.
Ant, You needed to make a trade and maybe a couple more to have a shot at the yoffs. Trading Garrett Wilson hurts cause with Rodgers he had top 5 potential at the position. So I get it. However, Scarry Terry has a chance at being great once the Commanders figure it out. Laporta is off too a hot start and is looking like the early second round pick was worth it for the Lions. He is looking like he will be the new king of the TE's to come. Only until Brock Bowers comes into the league. Your Trade Grade is an A.
Ant Grade B
The season for me started off rough with Dobbins going down and Wilson's only chance at breaking out tearing his Achilles. It completely spiraled with Chubbs knee exploding. This trade was my last grasp at some kind of relevancy this year and if the Jets don't go out and get another QB it could work out for me short term.
Chuck Grade B
This was another buy low shot from chuck as he had the depth to get rid of these two guys. Taking a chance that Wilson either gets a new QB or gets force fed is a good bet to make especially when he has Hockenson as your starter and Laporta will be taking up space on your bench.
Second Trade - Chucks Review
Chuck Sends: Rhamondre Stevenson and De'von Achane to Wings
Chuck Receivers: Tony Pollard from Wings
Chuck, man one of the true work horses in the league at RB and he is yours. This was a great pick up and a low cost. Your Trade Grade is an A.
Wings, Selling Pollard was a shock as I did not expect you to do this trade tbh, but hey here we are. Rhamondre sees all the redzone work, however he has lost a little bit of receiving work to Zeke. He is still a work horse as he sees 15 - 20 touches a game, zeke does limit his upside a little bit. De'von Achane. My guy. I loved when he came to this team cause hes fast and he showed what he can do. He worked with the starters for most of his work and that was before the game was a blow out. This kid is explosive, however with Mostert also dominating and Jeff Wilson coming back and The Dolphins also loving Ahmed. He is definitely hard to trust for this season unless they all get hurt which is a history of what they do. Take care of him. Cause Next Year when the backfield is just his, hes gonna be a problem. Your Trade Grade is a C.
Ant's Review -
Chuck grade A
Getting out of Rhamondre was great for you as Zeke genuinely gets too many touches to fully unleash Stevensons talent. To get back one of the true workhouse backs in the league is great value for you and fully rounds out your two RB duo.
Wings grade D
This felt a bit horny and desperate from you. Taking in Stevenson will keep your team afloat but to get rid of Pollard it was not worth it. And to buy high on Devon Achane will not be helpful if he doesn't score 4 touchdowns a week. I like the kid but that backfield is so out of wack and is adding Jeff Wilson Jr back soon.
Chuck's Power Rankings -
1. Ryan - it should be no suprise that you are here. Best WR trio in the league(For Now), Kenneth Walker showing out and Rachaad White having no comp in the backfield oh and Herby Slinging that bitch all around the field. Off to a great start. I think its a lock for you to be in playoffs already and you should continue to move along just fine.
2. Chuck - Hope Rob enjoyed his house warming gift and his revenge from getting his ass beat in the playoffs last year. I debated on putting myself here, but I deserve to be here. Facing 2 of the Top 5 teams already. The additions through trade also help.
3. Gio - This will only fuel your fire and piss you off even more, but you have faced the 3 worst teams in the league that havent had to deal with injury(Sorry Punjabi). Your true test this week is Rob. Why I do think you are off to a great start. I know it lingers in your mind, this team just isnt enough to win a title and will be waiting for you to make a splash soon.
4. Joe - You may be 1-2 but you deserve to be here. Your team is showing out and your problem right now is figuring out who to start. I do think you should go try and get a true star on this team that you can rely on with your depth.
5. Rob - Once upon time, a few blogs ago, you were in my sights, to take the throne, you lied to me, you lied to me, you lied to me, I guess I was wrong, I guess you liked that, and when I called you trash, you fucked me right back, you fucked me, you fucked me, you fucked me, cause I knew you were trouble when the league began, so shame on me now, treated you like grimace, til you put me down.
6. Bryan - You taking Mr fuck A draft title from Nauch and actually doing something with it. 2-1 start and now you play Mr fuck a draft himself. This might be the matchup of the week and you losing Mike Will for the season definitely does not help.
7. Wings - I know this may be a shock as you are 0-3, but I do think you are better then the rest of the teams under you. Your team is boom or bust which sucks, but I do see alot of boom coming soon.
8. Nauch - The 3 69ers have been your saving grace with your running back trio. You get Kamara back, MT looks like him. You are definitely on the sneaky side of the radar as usual. MR fuck a draft bowl this week shall determine your fate.
9. Erik - This team is so good on paper. The downfall of Henry looks like its here, Justin Fields pick really fucked you, Dj Moore too. If this team doesnt figure out from a football stand point for each player before their fantasy standpoint. You are fucked.
10. Ant - Nimya tu kuch der pa ke rakh le Pale vitch mukhra luiska ke rai Nimya tu kuch der pa ke rakh le Pale vitch mukhra luiska ke rai Aave kari na kise de naal pyar [Chorus] Mundiya to bach ke rahi Nahi tu hun hun hui mutiyar Mundiya to bach ke rahi Nahi tu hun hun hui mutiyar Mundiya to bach ke rahi, yeah.
Ant's Power Rankings -
1. Ryan: They say with age comes wisdom and that may be the case with Ryan. Back at the top of the power rankings where you belong. Herbert, Kenny, and the WR trio has gotten you here and show no signs of slowing down. Just go easy on me please...
2. Chuck: Tua and Reek can only do so much for you even when they drop 70 points and that was showcased this week. Behind those two the rest of the team is very serviceable and has potential to break scoring records each week. Buying low in the trades you're doing may help complete this team, or it might be your downfall.
3. Gio: as nice as it is to be 3-0 that doesn't tell the whole story for your team. You've given up the least amount of points this year, you've gotten great big games from guys like Zach Moss and Nico Collins which can only work for so long. Either way, Hurts, Etienne, and Adams are a strong core and go do a lot of you in each week your team takes the field.
4. Joe: Another rough loss for you this week can't feel great. The WRs you have are more than good enough to win you a few games and the depth we made fun of you for is actually the true strength of this team. If you can figure out your QB situation this is a top 3 team in the league.
5. Rob: Another classic year from Rob carried by Jamaar Chase and the rest of his boom or bust team. Lamar gas figured things out for the year and Kelce now has the power of Taylor Swift in his soul. This might be the year you put it all together to make a run at the chip.
6. Bryan: Slowly proving all the doubters wrong on the year behind Mahomes and Raheem Must Start. You keep saying it's a rebuilding year but you may be in a position to go for it all again.
7. Erik: it's been a fall from grace for you this year. A lot of this has been carried by Derrick Henry's downfall happen in front of our eyes. But, the WRs that you run out there each week are enough to put you in the game each week.
8. Wings: Its been a rough start to the year but this team is due for some positive regression. Josh Allen can do alot for this team but he can't do it all. You will need your WRs to get it together with some consistency. More than that you need your RBs to get you consistency each week.
9. Nauch: 1-2 isn't the worst place to be but it's much better to be in this position with a lot of pieces to trade. Until that time, your RBs need to keep you afloat behind your weak WR core.
10. Ant: pain, there's a lot of pain, but we still gotta be pushing forward.
Predction Records
Chuck: 6 - 4
Ant: 5 - 5
Wings: 5 - 5
