Week 3 Power Rankings

Gentleman, Welcome to your week 3 blog. The first two weeks have been interesting to say the least. We have 2 teams dominating. 2 teams with bad week 1's and dominant week 2. 3 teams that have benefited from better teams performing shitty to get a win, 2 team that should be down right embarrassed, and 1 team that is hit the injury bug. We saw Nick Chubb probably a top 5 most like player in all of Football go down with a grusome injury. This is a guy where his last name brings happiness and is a player that you just can't help to get a little Chubb when you think of him. Speedy recovery Nick.

Before we dive into this weeks power rankings. We saw some trades this week first two of the season. For the time being your blogger boyz Ant and I are gonna try and stay on top of these as much as possible to review before everyone gets horny like Erik at UCLA or Gio every Wednesday at Docs.
First trade of the season:

Ant Sends - Aj Brown to Wings.

Ant Recieves - Kyren Williams, Chris Godwin 10th round 2024 pick from Wings.

Chuck: Ant, this was a trade that you just had to make. AJ brown playing second fiddle and your RB's that you drafted to start are gone. Miles Sanders looks terrible and you needed a RB that is getting RB1 usuage. That is Kyren Williams. He is explosive, as long as Stafford is healthy you will see Kyren put up great numbers every week as long as they do not try to include Zach Evans in the run game. Godwin is in a year that was alot of speculation with trades and what not with the Bucs. However, Baker Mayfield looks great and is playing with passion. As long as the Buc's stay true and continue to be in close games Godwin if healthy is almost as Valuable as AJ Brown. Your Trade grade is an A+

Chuck: Wings, Brother this trade made 0 sense for you in my opion. Kyren is league winner potential. Pacheco is getting touches but is not really Rb2 material. I feel you traded more for the name of AJ brown then anything. You traded a running back that is seeing 15 rushes a game and just had a game with 10 targets. Thats volume you see out of CMC, Saquon, and Eckler. If he keeps this up this might be the biggest mistake you made all year. However, Aj brown has potential to finish as a top 10 reciever which is nice, but I think this was not smart for you as Godwin also has top 10 potential when healthy. Your Trade Grade is a C.

Ant -

Wings

Receives AJ Brown

Sends Kyren Williams, Chris Godwin, 10th round 2024 pick

Grade A

With Wings winning the waiver war of week 1 for Kyren Williams it was only a matter of time before he started getting trade offers. Essentially turning Chris Godwin and a 10th Into AJ brown is a win on all fronts for Wings. Especially as I expect Brown to come back to form here in the next few weeks

Ant:

Receives: Kyren Williams, Chris Godwin, 10th round 2024 pick

Sends: AJ Brown

Grade B+

I wish I could give myself an A but it's really tough giving up AJ brown. But with the injuries I've had at RB I needed to make a move for a RB and getting back Godwin is a nice consolation . If Kyren can do what he typical Rams RBs do, it will be a step in the right direction for me.

Second Trade:

Chuck Receives - Najee Harris from Joe.

Chuck Sends - Marquise Brown and 12th round 2024 Draft pick to Joe.

Chuck - WR depth is what made you do this trade. The steelers played two of the toughest defenses in the league in the first two games of the season and Najee is averagin 4.6 yards a carry. He is still a running back that is coming off back to back 1000 yard rushins seasons. Jaylen Warren has took some of the passing down work due to his explosiveness, but this is still Najee's backfield and I think he will show some life of what he did is Rookie year. This was worth the risk for me. Your Trade grade is a B.

Joe - Frankly, this trade did not make sense for you and some people will call it collusion but you offered this to me soo fuck it. You kept Najee as one of your keepers and gave up this early on him which makes no sense at all. However, you get back a solid receiver who will see volume in the passing game. Does he have WR 1 potential? Not with Joshua Dobbs back there. You gain a 12th round pick. I do not think this was a very good trade at all for you. Your Trade grade is D.

Ant -

Joe:
Receives: Marquise Brown  12th round 2024 draft pick
Sends: Najee Harris,

Grade: A+

Getting off of a RB who looks like he's going to be droppable by the end of the season is a win. Getting some actual value back is even more of a win. And for some reason got the better player and got a draft pick back? Great job on this trade Joe.

Chuck
Sends: Marquise Brown  12th round 2024 draft pick
Receives: Najee Harris

Grade: C

Uhm well I guess someone was trade horny. I don't know what you see in one of the worst statistical running backs in the league but maybe you wanted some depth? If you wanted it that bad you might've been better served getting another RB for a WR like Hollywood. I don't know why you did this trade but good luck with it.

Chucks Power Rankings -

1. Chuck - Back to Back 180 point weeks, leader in PF and the commissioner's cup. No injuries and your only issue to figure out is Qb is kinda nice. Devonta Smith is looking great and TJ is dominating. Two player who fell to you when they should not have. The Addition of Najee can we really beneficial down the road.

2. Gio - The champ is making a statement and he is doing it through the waiver wire. No Ekeler No problem. Nico Collins find and Zack Moss looking great helped alot. This week he has to do it again, with Aiyuk not playing as well as No Ekeler again. However, like I said before you always figure it out.

3. Ryan - Mr. Ryan, top 3 club and rightfully deserved. Your Keepers have not scored a touch down but here we are. Your running backs came to life last week and as long as they stay Healthy you should be fine. I am the biggest Rachaad white hater, but he is seeing the most work out of the backfield in the NFL and as long as the Bucs are winning so is he. Jaylen Waddle got rocked and might be a no go this week, however can you stay here or will Joe haunt you.

4. Joe - Highest scoring week and showing maybe you can draft. Gibbs unleashed this week in a battle with Bijan and the Falcons. Tee Time showed up and your old head recievers are ballin. If you can keep the momentum and beat ryan this week, we might see Joe return to the Top 3.

5. Wings - Wings with a high scoring week and took an L. Feels bad. You play the Champ, right now you are middle of the pact, but I would be embarrassed of this 0-2 start. However, 0-2 and ranked 5th. Maybe light some fire under your ass.

6. Bryan - Call me again about your rank and you will be Blogger Cursed just like Hurtado was. You had a great win and your team showed that it has a pulse. Puka Nacua is the next Randy Moss for the next couple weeks until Kupp comes back who is also on your team. However either way it fucks you imo. Mike Williams hasnt hit his potential and Jacobs is off to a slow start. Mostert maybe can stay healthy. However, the other 4 teams under you can easily jump to this pot. Be happy you are here.

7. - Erik - How the mighty have fallen. This has been rough for you. Derrick Henry has not been as Dominant which makes me sad, but he will pick it up. Justin Fields blames his coaches, MetCalf hurt his Calf, Deebo only benefits from Aiyuk injury. Dameon Pierce is just not moving. Alot to figure out, but maybe you just can't draft.

8. Rob - Rob, its rough. Bengals are ass, Jamaar chase is taking a hit from Burrow injury. Jamal williams hamstring, Cam Akers competing in a MIDOFF with Mattison which sucks and Joe Mixon in a shitty Bengals team to start the season. All hurt you 3 running backs and your star WR. Diggs is Performin, and Kelce. Lamaar is not running as much and well this might be a chalk for you this year.

9. Nauch - Well you came back to life. CMC is dominating. Saquon hurt, Dalvin Cook washed and everything else is just awful. Trade a Running back and figure it out.

10. Ant - Sorry about Dobbins and Nick Chubb. Kyren will help. Just stay healthy man.

Ant's PowerRankings -

1.Chuck: back on top this week after another solid 180 point performance. Behind Tyreek, Hockenson, and Bijan this team is well rounded and injury free to Chuck has nothing to stop his team in sight, other than some little curse rumored to be cast on his team...

2.Gio: the champ came into the year getting laughed at and now he's the one laughing. Etienne looks like a true RB1 and Jalen Hurts and Brandon Aiyuk are top tiers of their respective positions. A Davante injury and Ekeler injury might put a little damper on everything but that shouldn't stop the champ from a playoff run again.

3.Ryan: Rounding out the top 3 we have Ryan coming in with his WR trio. Jetta's and Kenneth Walker have been the stars of the show to start the year and once Olave and Waddle truly start going this team can take a huge leap. Also, one more RB would go a long way in making this tram elite.

4.Joe: Joe has beaten the "can't draft" allegations after two weeks, kinda. After starting the year off with an L, Joe came back with the highest point total of the year so far behind an all around solid performance from his team. Kennan Allen and Mike Evans may be older but they're getting the job done and that's all Joe needs.

5.Wings: a 180 point loss always hurts and I'm sorry for your pain commish. On the bright side Josh Allen isn't washed and neither is Tyler Lockett. The addition of AJ Brown really rounds out this team and if your RBs can stay healthy it be set up for a playoff run.

6.Erik: the disappointment to the season has been rough on Eriks team and Justin Fields is looking like the biggest QB bust of the draft so far. Despite this Lamb and Metcalf are looking like their true selves. But is that enough to carry this team to a chip?

7.Bryan: Look at what we have here. The owner of the best WR in the NFL, Puka Nacua. Besides Puka this team still goes as Patty Mahomes goes and so far that hasn't been very far. But don't worry, he's playing me this week so I'm sure he'll be much better.

8.Nauch: we all predicted that the WRs of this team would be its downfall and so far it is. Without a real QB behind it it's also rough for Nauch to have shootouts with the rest of the league. The RBs are still strong but can only do so much to carry this team.

9.Rob: While last week didn't end well for Rob it was the injuries that may have hampered the true potential of his team. OBJ and Jamaal Williams both might be out a week or 2 at best and Mattison may just lost his starting job with Cam Akers now in Minnesota. The arrow is pointed down on the stock for Rob's team.

10. Ant: Sigh. With the reintroduction of the IR reserve team name it's been a rough start to the year to the say the least. A last ditch effort to save the season has been made with my most recent trade but if it doesn't pan out, it might be time to roll out the tanks.

Mathchup Prediction Standings.

Chuck: 4 - 1
Ant: 2 - 3
Wings: 2 - 3

I am just him. Wings and Ant much like their fantasy teams can't even be honest with themselves about they teams smh.
