Aint not way better to announce rule changes then this video. If you have not seen this South park episode check it out. However, real reason why we are here! Thats right I said we the Blogger BoyZ are officially back for SZN 8. Chuck Chino and Punjabi Ant. We are here to bring you the new rule changes that we have, the additions to the league, as well as the subtractions. 


1. ABOLISH IDPS
YES: 6
NO: 4

Ant - Gone are the days of the random defensive player carrying your team to victory. I will not be missing this roster spot.

Chuck - For the person who brought IDP's into the league to see them go is sad. I wish we could have gone full ppr for tackles to make the defensive player more interesting.

2. REPLACE TE WITH FLEX
YES: 3
NO: 7

Ant - The people voted and the people voted correctly. Not sure who wanted to change this but it made no sense to me. #SavetheTE

Chuck - Replace the TE with Flex?? Seems like a Gio thing to ask. Kelce, Kittle, Andrews, Hockenson getting the disrespect. TE's are on the rise.

3. MAX FG MISS -3
YES: 7
NO: 3
4.PAT MISS -3
YES: 4
NO: 6

Ant - I wasn't heavily opinionated on either side of these rules but it will be sad watching us freak out over a missed 30 yarder that negated that touchdown your player just scored. 

Chuck - I think this had to happen before wings tries to abolish them again. The days of Kickers being not important are here. There were more 0 point and negative point defenses then kickers last year. Kickers will make or break you with these rules.

5. PASSING SCORING INCREASE 0.1 PER YARD
YES: 6
NO: 4

Ant - This has been the standard in every league that I've been in before so finally we're in line. Not sure how it wasn't already like this but I'll take it. This might help some QBs with breaking the scoring record this year.

Chuck - This will make the QB the so much more valuable. Going from 1 point for every 20 yards to 10, would not be suprised if we see a points record shatter for a player as well as a full roster.

6. REDUCE FUMBLE LOST TO -1:
YES: 5
NO: 5
COMMISH TIEBREAKER: YES 

Ant - Our first tier breaker, and one that I don't agree with. There should be more of a punishment for losing the football. But I guess democracy is cool to.

Chuck - It is DECIDED. #AndrewPutin

7. REDUCE DEF FUMBLE RECOVERY TO +2:
YES: 4
NO: 6

Ant - Like I said above there should be a punishment to losing the football,just like there should be a reward for causing the loss. Good veto boys

Chuck - Like this alot to stay the way it is.

8. DEF YARDS ALLOWED SCORING CHANGES:
YES: 7
NO: 3

Ant - Love this rule change. Not going to be as bad to see your defense fall apart that week. It'll still hurt but just not as much. 

Chuck - I think this will make having a good defense more valuable do to that depending on the D for example the eagles last year, you can have a free 10 points every week.

9. PLAYOFF FORMAT
KEEP PLAY-IN: 4
REMOVE PLAY-IN: 4
EXPANDED PLAYOFFS: 2
I ASKED THE 2 FOOS WHO VOTED FOR EXPANDED PLAYOFFS AND THE NEW VOTE COUNT IS:
KEEP PLAY-IN: 4
REMOVE PLAY-IN: 6 (rest in piss)

Ant - As I was part of the first play in I liked the idea of having a “wild card” type playoff spot in the league. But apparently my brothers didn't feel the same. 

Chuck - Thank god, hopefully next year we can go to 5 playoff teams...

10. TRADE DEADLINE EXTENSION

  • YES: 3

  • NO: 7

Ant - Chuck denies it was him who submitted this rule change, but I dont believe that for a second. Smart voting boys.


Chuck - Damn, an extension would have been nice, but it is what it is. *Eyeemoji


11. REGULAR SEASON TOURNAMENT (AND BUY IN INCREASE TO $60):

  • YES: 8

  • NO: 2


Ant - Should be interesting to watch the league winner for this tournament. Admittedly, it could also be just as boring as the NBA in season tournament. At least there's a mini trophy now.


Chuck - Love this, hopefully it keeps yall from tanking 3 weeks into the season. Joe and Nauch. Lets keep this competitive stop conceding and start competing pussies.


12. EXPANSION TO 12 TEAMS:

  • YES: 4

  • NO: 6


Ant - THANK GOD. Not that I'm opposed to adding 2 teams in the future but this one was going to get too messy and seemed to penalize existing owners. If we can find a way to do this cleanly, or convert to a full dynasty league I'm sure this can get voted through.


Chuck - This was a close one. An expansion would be nice to grow our family by 2 more, however much more to think about before considering this after further thought. I did vote yes, however pretty soon the degenerates will grow larger.

  LEAGUE OF DEGENERATES OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MARCH 20, 2023, OAKLAND, CA –  The following is a joint statement by Commissioner Wings and Anthony “Top Dawg” Perez. After the decision made by the Commissioner on Breidagate, Ant immediately appealed the decision on the following grounds: ​​A team is allowed to start whomever it may concern as long as the player is an active player on an NFL ROSTER and has played or is giving an effort to play in upcoming games. Regardless of standings and or playoff matchups a team is not incentivized to consider roster moves, changes, and or decisions. This is fantasy football where any given player can win or lose matchups regardless of their projections.  (Outlined by Wandale Robinson) the league has no right to decide who and who isn't a player that can be started in a lineup in any given week.   Week 14 The Commissioner’s Report, Week 14: Gents, I gotta say yesterday was one of the more thrilling ends to a regular season, and for all the wrong reasons.
